These Terms of Service govern your use of MarketPlay, owned and operated by Aarit Shah, Mumbai, India. By creating an account and using MarketPlay you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
MarketPlay is a financial literacy game. Everything in the app — net worth, scenarios, consequences, challenges — is simulated and for educational and entertainment purposes only.
MarketPlay is not a financial advisor. Nothing in the app constitutes financial advice. Do not make real financial decisions based on anything MarketPlay shows you.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MarketPlay. If you are under 16 you must have parental consent. By creating an account you confirm you meet these requirements.
You must provide accurate information during onboarding. Providing false information affects the quality of your personalised experience and may result in account termination.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may only create one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage in challenges or leaderboards will result in all accounts being permanently banned.
If you want to delete your account you can do so from your profile settings at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Violation of any of these rules may result in immediate account termination without notice.
When you create a group you are responsible for the activity within that group. Do not create groups with offensive or inappropriate names.
Group creators can remove members. Removed members lose access to that group's clan page and history.
MarketPlay is not responsible for the behaviour of other users in groups or challenges.
MarketPlay uses AI to generate financial scenarios, consequences, insights, and chatbot responses. This content is generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate.
If you encounter AI generated content that seems wrong, harmful, or offensive please report it immediately using the in-app bug report button.
AI generated content is not financial advice. It is educational and entertainment content only.
Your in-app net worth is entirely simulated. It has no real world monetary value. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for anything of real world value.
MarketPlay reserves the right to adjust game mechanics, net worth calculations, event difficulty, and any other feature at any time. We are not liable for any changes that affect your in-app net worth or ranking.
We aim to keep MarketPlay available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or technical issues.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or shut down MarketPlay at any time with or without notice.
All content, design, code, and features of MarketPlay are owned by Aarit Shah. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of MarketPlay without written permission.
Your in-app data — your decisions, net worth history, spending entries — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal data.
MarketPlay is provided as is without any warranties. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app including but not limited to decisions you make in real life based on in-app content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of MarketPlay shall not exceed ₹0 — the app is free to use and no money changes hands in v1.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
We may update these terms at any time. If we make significant changes we will notify you via email and in-app notification before the changes take effect. Continued use of MarketPlay after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
